Founded by Ted and Doris Isaacson in Sacramento, California, SERVPRO quickly expanded its services beyond painting by applying the Isaacsons’ expertise in cleaning and restoration. By 1969, SERVPRO had established its first franchise, setting in motion a steady expansion that turned it into a leader in the industry. Today, with over 2,270 locations across the U.S., SERVPRO continues to deliver unmatched expertise in restoring homes and businesses affected by fire, water, mold, and storm damage.

In 1988, SERVPRO moved its headquarters to the Metro Nashville area, strategically positioning itself within 600 miles of 50% of the U.S. population. This move helped SERVPRO deepen its community ties, and by 1991, it was recognized as the “Small Business of the Year” by the Nashville Business Journal.
